World Autism Awareness Week

Clair Challenor-Chadwick, MD of Cause UK, has been working with Ampleforth Plus, a chocolate factory, which supports individuals who have autism, mental health conditions or learning difficulties.  Clair is raising their media profile during ‘World Autism Awareness Week’ (27 March-2 April 2017) via the Yorkshire Post, ITV regional News, Dalesman Magazine and BBC radio.  She is also introducing new customers to help increase chocolate sales and ‘sign up’ to their half and full day chocolate making workshops, which are open to the general public.

Ampleforth Plus is a social enterprise, which is run under the umbrella of Autism Plus, a charity which supports independent living for adults with autism.

To find out more and to purchase chocolate go to https://www.ampleforthplus.co.uk/

Ampleforth Plus is holding an Easter event on Sunday 9th April, with workshops taking place between 10am-12noon and a pop-up shop between 12noon – 4pm.
