28 pianists will play 28 Steinway pianos, playing out the history of the EU from birth to Brexit. The piece acts as a Brexit eulogy.  The composition showcases the national anthem of each nation, intertwined with Beethoven’s ‘Ode to Joy’ (Europe’s national anthem).
