At Cause UK, we’ve been getting close to nature, which is apt as today sees the #30DaysWild campaign launch with the Wildlife Trust, encouraging more people to do something outdoors.

It’s been a joy getting into Channel 5’s The Yorkshire Vet (who knew testicles were such a hot topic for vets!) on the excuse that one of the stars of the show, Julian Norton, features at NiddFest this June.

NiddFest is overseen by our clients, the Nidderdale AONB and the Wild Watch team, and has a brilliant line-up, including outdoor events and world-class nature writers.

It also features the effervescent Unsprung presenter Lindsey Chapman, who was on the box this week on BBC2’s wildlife quiz show, Curious Creatures with Chris Packham.

Representing Nidderdale AONB, The Wild Watch and the Upper Nidderdale Landscape Partnership is a complete joy. They do such important work safeguarding the wildlife and beauty of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We hope our media work on NiddFest helps puts bums on seats, as it’s featured in BBC Wildlife Magazine, the Guardian, and Ann has written bespoke features on nature writing for the Yorkshire Post, Harrogate Advertiser and Yorkshire Living magazine.

You can follow all action on Twitter @NiddFest or go online to book niddfest.com

We caught our own unusual ‘Tweet of the Day’ in Knaresborough in the castle grounds, where a talking Raven chattered away asking, ‘You ‘right luv?’ in a Yorkshire accent.
