Brexit, a musical illustration

Brexit, a musical illustration. Call for Pianists

Brexit, a musical illustration

Cause UK is thrilled to be the media partner working on ‘European Unison.’ Brexit, a musical illustration has been composed by the emerging artist and Ruskin graduate Ruth Spencer Jolly. 28 pianists will gather to represent the members of the European Union and play out the history of the EU. The premiere will be staged at Besbrode Pianos in Leeds on Sunday 26th March 2017 and the timing is designed to fit with the most likely date for the triggering of Article 50.

Each pianist will be playing a piece built around the national anthem of each of the 28 member states of the EU, with varying degrees of difficulty, all Grade 5+. Pianists must be available on Sunday 26th March for a day of rehearsals, filming and performance.
