Cause UK helped the media profile of ‘In the Rings with Ali’, a major photographic retrospective celebrating the past 70 years of Muhammed Ali during the 2012 London Olympics. Coverage included Esquire Magazine, BBC Breakfast and the Daily Mirror. In June 2013, Cause brought the exhibition to Bradford’s Midland Hotel for its northern debut, supported by the charity QED-UK.
Cause UK invited Richard Dunn who fought Ali for the World Heavyweight championship in 1976 as Guest of Honour at the high profile launch. Boxers and coaches from the Bradford Police and College Boxing Academy attended, as well as Yorkshire’s most famous choir ‘Rock Up and Sing.’
TV Coverage included Calendar News and Look North who recorded live from the launch, alongside BBC Radio 5 Live. Print coverage included a magazine spread in the Yorkshire Post, Telegraph and Argus, York Press, the BBC and Asian Image.
