Cause UK began supporting Articulate Agency – a leading casting agency based in Baildon, Bradford – at the end of 2024.
Articulate Agency is one of the top acting agency’s agencies in the UK, representing children and young adults up to the age of 25. it also runs drama schools. As such, it has a remarkable ability, thanks to its tutors (all professional actors) to not only spot the Next Big Thing, but nurture these talents too, with care and total passion for their ambition and wellbeing.
To date, the TV shows and films their clients have worked on include a roll call of TV greats and Hollywood giants. From Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later, to Netflix’s Adolescence, and BBC’s Virdee.
They’re currently working with HBO on what is undoubtedly the TV show of the decade, Harry Potter. And they broker life-changing opportunities for children and young adults, often from normal or working-class regional backgrounds, often from Yorkshire.
In the months we’ve worked with them, we’ve secured its young stars on various regional and national broadcast shows, including the sofa of BBC Breakfast, on BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Look North, with multiple interviews on BBC Radio Leeds, as well as features on BBC Online, BBC Tyne Tees, BBC Bradford, and BBC West Midlands.
We’ve also placed (and written some) features directly, profiling the agency and its protégé in the pages of Yorkshire Life, Yorkshire Post, Yorkshire Living, Northern Life, Telegraph & Argus, Asian Image, BizAsiaLive, Northern Echo, Liverpool Echo, Leeds Live, and National World.
The stories have run nationally in The Express, Mirror, and interviews have run in Top 10 Films magazine.
We’ve placed expert comment in publications including The Guardian, Deadline, The Stage, and BBC Sounds, and lined up an interview in the upcoming Radio Times.
It is a joy to help shout about the remarkable talent in Bradford and the wider Yorkshire community.
To date, we’ve secured over 135 news stories and features, with an estimated 12M views, according to the algorithms of the PR tool, CoverageBook, based on audience reach and engagement rate on social media.
