The Yorkshire Asian Young Achievers Awards (YAYAs) will take place on 2nd April 2020.  It is the first awards of its kind aimed at recognising the efforts of young people, aged 16-30, of South Asian heritage.

The awards will recognise a wide range of achievement, from performance in sport, the arts, media, health, education, to accomplishment in the public and third sector.  The awards will be presented at a glittering gala ceremony on  April 2nd 2020 at Ceder Court hotel in Bradford.

The YAYAs are organised by the QED Foundation led by Dr Mohammed Ali OBE and Adeeba Malik CBE (pictured) who have worked for almost 30 years to improve the social and economic position of disadvantaged communities in partnership with public, private and civil society organisations.
