The Italian Job Art Installation

‘The Italian Job’ starring Michael Caine was released on 2nd June 1969. The movie was shot in Turin and tells the story of a plan to steal a gold shipment and return it to Britain in an old coach.  This iconic British film is to be celebrated this year via an amazing art installation in Turin.

Artist and designer, Mark Hinchliffe plans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ‘Italian Job’ by travelling with a coach of artists, chefs and designers from Harrogate to Turin, to Artissima one of the largest art fairs in Europe. The road trip will take in the best of Italian food, drink and art and end in Artissima.

Over 60,000 people attend Artissima with over 200 galleries and 1,500 press visitors from around the world. Arriving on the 29–30th October.  Mark and his team will erect a replica bus art installation on an office block in the heart of Turin, as a delegation of 70 Minis will arrive from the UK to celebrate the 50th anniversary!
