The stars of the Great Yorkshire Proms and Queen Symphonic will be supported by the newly revived Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra, specifically created to support Northern musicians hit hard by the pandemic.
The Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra was disbanded in 1955, and its return is backed by literary legend, Alan Bennett. It’s been a long time coming, and Yorkshire deserves its own orchestra now more than ever.
