Interviewing and capturing people’s stories is one thing Cause UK director Ann loves. A former feature writer on regional newspapers, she still freelances for the Yorkshire Post, and a few magazines. Her writing skills are put to work when she interviews the case studies for Key Fund’s annual Social Impact report.

Key Fund was one of our first ever clients when Cause UK launched 11 years ago.

A pioneering social investor, Key Fund has supported over 2,500 social and community enterprises, all working to tackle deep-rooted challenges, from homelessness and NEETs to mental ill-health and the environmental crisis.

Each year, writing their Social Impact report, inspires us anew. The people Key Fund invest in are truly doing remarkable work.

The stories this year include a young person failed by mainstream education supported to shine; a bereaved elderly woman who finds a renewed zest for life; a veteran whose life is saved.

These incredible social and community enterprises lift up those who need it most. We can’t wait to see the final Social Impact report when Key Fund publish it later this year.
