Harrogate – Britain’s Most Bookish Town

Is Harrogate the UK’s most bookish town? Here at Cause UK we represent two major book festivals for our client Harrogate International Festivals – the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival, which takes place in July, and the Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival, in October.

This year, we are also promoting NiddFest for our clients, The Upper Nidderdale Landscape Partnership and The Wild Watch. NiddFest is a festival that brings book lovers closer to nature and nature lovers closer to books. It takes place in Pateley Bridge this June.

We also represent Visit Harrogate, so this story in The Independent was a fantastic fit: Why Harrogate’s wearing the crown of 2018’s bookiest UK town.

Check out the Visit Harrogate news page to find out why the district is best for books.

If you have a media query for any of the festivals, or for Visit Harrogate, please contact Ann: ann@causeuk.com M: 07534892715.
