John Farnworth in March this year will attempt to cross the world’s largest frozen lake in Siberia within a 48 hour time frame, while keeping a football in the air as a World Record attempt. Cause UK is looking for sponsorship partners to help John on the World Record attempt – taking man and ball into the world’s extremes to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Lake Baikal in Siberia is the world’s oldest and deepest freshwater lake, temporarily frozen for part of the year. John Farnworth will attempt to cross the 80km width of it within a 48-hour time frame. He will be doing this while keeping a ball in the air and under control the whole way.
Aside from trying to set a brand new speed and endurance World Record with the ball, John is using this challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK. All the money raised will go towards the charity’s aims to help save lives through research and bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
John’s stunts and challenges reach millions of people across the world through his social media accounts and TV exposure. John will be creating high-end content to inspire and engage online, alongside a PR strategy with Cancer Research UK. You can sponsor and support the challenge with your brand and be included in the journey for £7,000 (we would consider 3 or 4 sponsors). Read John Farnworth Brand Partnerships Deck
