This weekend the Financial Times featured the Nidderdale Way for our clients, the Upper Nidderdale Landscape Partnership and Visit Harrogate.
The feature by Pamela Goodman, Travel Editor of House and Garden magazine, was set up by Ann, and kindly supported by Bewerley Hall Farm in Pateley Bridge, Swinton Estates and The Yorke Arms in Ramsgill. Taxis were provided by local driver, Emma, with luggage transfers from Brigantes.
It shows how rural businesses with a great tourism offer can work together to achieve great promotion for a unique tourism offer in the district: The Nidderdale Way.
As Pamela writes, ‘The bracing scenery and cosy inns of the Nidderdale Way could be on the cusp of wider recognition…’

We launched the Upper Nidderdale Landscape Partnership’s new walking guide to the circular route that takes in some of Yorkshire’s major attractions, last year, with the walk being promoted by Yorkshire Water, Harrogate Informer, The Yorkshire Post, Harrogate Advertiser, Wetherby News and The Great Outdoors magazine.
