Raworths Literature Festival Puts Harrogate on Literary Map

Harrogate has a reputation as a book lovers’ town, thanks to the work of our client, Harrogate International Festivals, who deliver two major literary festivals each year. The upcoming Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival this October has been keeping us busy.

Ann has interviewed authors including Henry Cole for Harrogate Review magazine and the Yorkshire Post, as well as a series of Q&As with festival authors such as Robin Ince, Catherine Steadman, Benet Brandreth, Jonathan Cranston and Emma Bache.

Ann’s journalism work with the authors has been used in the York Press, Northern Echo, Yorkshire Post, and Harrogate Advertiser.

PR work has resulted in David Starkey featuring in the I newspaper, and John Simpson interviewed for The Express, with features in Yorkshire Living magazine, with half a dozen authors being interviewed for BBC Radio York on the run up to the event.
