The one-man hit machine who wrote some of the UK’s best-loved singles for Take That, The Spice Girls, and Bryan Adams alongside megastars Aretha Franklin and Mary J Blige, is hosting a special charity gala dinner concert on Friday 9 November.

The Sheffield songwriter to the stars, Eliot Kennedy, will perform some of his biggest hits at Aston Hall Hotel in Sheffield in aid of the Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.

Tickets are limited for the exclusive event, and include a three-course dinner, with Aston Hall Hotel offering special room rates for attendees.

One of the UK’s most prolific songwriters and record producers at work today, Eliot is famed for his annual charity concerts hosted around his hometown, Sheffield.

He has sold millions of records worldwide, from producing comedian Peter Kay’s songs for his spoof talent-show queen, Geraldine McQueen to working on the real X-Factor as a Talent Development Director, mentoring upcoming global superstars, including Little Mix.

With his songwriting partner, Gary Barlow, Eliot co-wrote the Queen’s Jubilee song, Sing, and the Broadway stage hit, Finding Neverland, which won the People’s Choice Award.

Amongst producing albums, including Donny Osmond’s 60th album, he is a Golden Globe nominee and Grammy award winner for Never Gonna Break My Faith, performed by Aretha Franklin and Mary J Blige, for the film Bobby. His work with his long-term collaborator Bryan Adams saw them nominated for a Critics Choice award for Never Let Go in the film, The Guardian. Eliot’s Ivor Novello was awarded for the song Picture of You by Boyzone.

To raise funds and to celebrate Thornberry Animal Sanctuary’s 30th anniversary, Eliot will be hosting and performing an exclusive acoustic set.

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary has been rescuing and re-homing animals since 1988 in South and West Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North East Derbyshire. The charity has successfully rehomed thousands of animals in need.
