Eliot has one of the biggest hearts in the industry, performing annual charity gigs in the UK. He has sold millions of records worldwide and penned hits for megastars including Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Bryan Adams, Take That and The Spice Girls, and picked up a Grammy and Ivor Novello along the way.

One of the UK’s most prolific songwriters and record producers at work today, from producing comic Peter Kay’s songs for his spoof talent-show queen, Geraldine McQueen, to co-writing and producing the real Queen’s Jubilee song, Sing, with Gary Barlow.

Eliot has worked as a Talent Development Director on ITV’s The X-Factor, mentoring upcoming global superstars, including Little Mix.

Amongst producing albums, including Donny Osmond’s 60th album, he collaborates with Gary Barlow, writing musicals. They co-wrote the Broadway stage hit, Finding Neverland, which won the People’s Choice Award.

He’s a Golden Globe nominee and Grammy award winner for Never Gonna Break My Faith, performed by Aretha Franklin and Mary J Blige, for the film Bobby. His work with his long-term collaborator Bryan Adams saw them nominated for a Critics Choice award for Never Let Go in the film, The Guardian. Eliot’s Ivor Novello was awarded for the song Picture of You by Boyzone.

To raise funds and to celebrate the charity’s 30th anniversary, songwriter to the stars, Eliot Kennedy, will be hosting and performing an exclusive acoustic evening on 9th November 2018 at Aston Hall in Sheffield.

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary look after and rehome Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and Horses. They have a small team of staff that care for and rehome the animals and volunteers who help walk the dogs and socialise the animals. A team of volunteers help to raise money from their onsite weekend second hand sales shops and they also have a café on site that is run by volunteers and opens every weekend.

Everyone who is involved with Thornberry trustees, staff and volunteers are passionate about the Sanctuary and all play an important part in the lives of many animals.
