Stockeld Park

Cause UK got festive for a PR campaign to promote Stockeld Park’s new Christmas tree delivery service.

The Christmas Adventure at Stockeld Park features light sculptures of unicorns and reindeer in its winter wonderland.  With 100,000 lights festooning a trail almost a mile long, Stockeld’s winter illuminations are among the biggest in the country. Visitors can also try their hand along Europe’s longest synthetic Nordic ski trail, and check out their festive ice rink.

The Stockeld estate is home to Yorkshire’s biggest Christmas tree plantation; 35,000 trees will be sold this year. It counts Bettys tearooms, Emmerdale, and the set of the hit TV series Victoria within its customer base for Christmas trees. This year they’ve launched a new home delivery service around the Harrogate-York-Leeds triangle or visitors can choose a tree and pick up decorations at their Christmas Shop and enjoy a glass of mulled wine until 23 December.

With more than half-a-million Christmas trees in the ground, we co-ordinated the Press Association to film and photograph the estate to promote the plantation.

The video went far and wide including the Daily Mail, online sites AOL, Yahoo, and news sites as far afield as Ireland, the Channel Islands and Australia.

Regional features also including a magazine spread on the estate in Yorkshire Living magazine, a business focus in Yorkshire Post’s Vision magazine, and mentions in Christmas features in the Telegraph, I news, and Harrogate Advertiser.
